A few weeks ago I won a little cookbook. 101 Things to Do With Bacon by Eliza Cross. The fact that it was so bacon-centric definitely had my attention when I saw it was available on Goodreads. Lucky me, I won the book!

Just flipping through it you think "I want that, oh yes, I want that, I am definitely making that!"

The first dishes I made were Bacon-Wrapped Orange Chicken and No-Stir Risotto with peas and bacon. Super easy, completely mouth wateringly delicious aromas and taste. Husband says,

I absolutely loved this cookbook! I received this book from Goodreads and it was a great excuse to have to try a few new recipes with one of my favorite foods...bacon! I tried a few recipes so far and everyone in my family has enjoyed then and well, that is not always an easy task! So far we have had the bacon, egg and Colby cheese quesadillas and a casserole dish with bacon. I can't wait to try more. I will try to update my review as I try out some more recipes!

I am hungry! I saw that a reader I follow loved this so I had to get it, actually I got 2 copies - one for my daughter). I have recently become obsessed by the Deviled egg appetizer with candied bacon at Coastal Flats (I travel well over an hour here near DC to get to Tysons for this). I found a way to make the bacon and many other tasty things to try. It missed my favorite tailgate recipe - bacon wrap ups, horrid to make or think about but always the first thing gone at any party I have taken t ...more

If you love bacon, you will love this awesome collection of recipes that use this versatile ingredient. I'm a complete sucker for cookbooks and I have a lot of them, so I really appreciate the slim design of this book. And the spiral binding makes it easy to consult the recipes completely hands-free while preparing food. It would make a great gift for anyone who loves to cook -- for their birthday, Christmas or as a housewarming present.

This is the most useful book! It is a snap to buy good-or great-bacon to have on hand for dinner, appetizers, party.
Buy thus one. Tuck it into your kitchen book spot and pull it out a lot. Bacon just makes people happy and Eliza Cross hit a home run here!

I received this book as a free give away and my husband has been cooking with bacon ever since. Who knew that this book would create a cook. Now when I get home from work, dinner is done. This book is a must have.

A clear cook book. Clearly structured around the given theme, although the recipes are all caloric bombs.
