Great series. I originally read these as they were individually released as a monthly serial novel and bought this so I could have it as one book. Each of the three stories read as complete novels, so when reading this, you are reading three main events in the lives of the Cepheus colony. Characters are fleshed out well and you can't help but to fall in love with Ani, Sky, Gunnar, and several others.

You can't help but to fall in love with this post-modern superheroine named Ani Maxima. The book description speaks for itself, however it doesn't describe the social relationships she has and her caring and loving attitude. Throughout it all, she is constantly tortured by Xiim even after he had been destroyed. He haunts her every night, so sleeping is a frightening time for her. Highly recommended

One of the best Sci-Fi books I've read in a long time. I loved the concept of a kind, loving, sweet, child-like ordinary girl who has all the powers necessary to save an entire planet. Too often, when a "superhero" comes along, they are muscular, acrobatic, and mentally ready. This girl is none of those and because of that, you can't help but to fall in love with her. I would like to see more sequels

I was looking forward to reading it, but in its current form, the book is not properly finished. It has some promising ideas, but it seems that the book hasn't been reviewed by an editor. The style is haphazard, and it makes it difficult to lose yourself in the story because you're jolted back to your chair repeatedly with an odd turn of phrase or non sequitur, a dated slang term in the narrative, a grammatical or semantic error, or an unexpected and unwelcome detour into the vaguely lascivious. ...more

Scott's first novel, Mommy's Choice, was originally published in paperback under the pseudonym Scott Curtis. In under a year on the bookshelves, that novel won the National Christian Choice Book Award for romantic suspense. When Scott moved to a different publisher and started making his novels available to Kindle readers, he returned to his real name and reduced the prices to the absolute minimum ...more
