I love Kaitlyn O'Connor's cyborg series. I'm always delighted when she writes another installment.

This book takes place years after the Cyber revolution series. Anika has saved nearly all her earnings hoping that she'll be chosen to hep colonize a new planet. She desperately wants a family and knows she'll never get permission to have a child on earth. Just when she feels she's getting too old and has nearly given up hope, she's chosen to be one of the next colonists. She knows she'll need help

This book had a great setup about signing up for colonizing a new planet then waiting years for your name to be called. The whole limited reproduction rights thing was good too. Where it failed is that the heroine spent almost no time with the main hero much less the other two. One of whom was a total cypher. The other guy, the cop, was a very interesting character. If it had been just those three, and the had spent way more time together so we could see the relationship development I would have ...more

3.5 Stars.

Yay! Kaitlyn O'Connor is back.

The good:

Good mix of heroes. We have the adorable clueless one, the too smart one, and the regular guy.

Interesting Sci-fi worlds

Cool mom. I loved the heroine's mom.

The could be better and typical Kaitlyn:
Please stop recycling names, Kaitlyn, I beg you. You can write a book with retreading names like Sebastian, Anika, Cole, etc.

Heroine is dumb as a box of rocks most the time, clueless, and her internal monologue is full of exclamation points!! Like a

Good

I really enjoy her stories, I like all the characters and their development and how they got to the end. Spoilers!!!!! Ahead!! Anika got with Chance and Sebastian married Cole and that was it. It basically ends there. They never show her getting it on with Cole.

This was sweet. It has adventure and the guys and their quarreling, but just much less than the earlier cyborg series. Anika (way overused name in her books) was funny and the familiar inner conversation was present.with her, too. It's not as sexy as most of her books, but it kept my attention. I was hoping this group would end up on the cyborg planet.

If there is another book, I will certainly get it.

Good start.

Plot was really good, however story became slow and perdictable .
I had to skim the remainder to a flat ending. Sorry two stars was being kind.
