Twisting paths

Alice fell down the rabbit hole, Evie plunged into the Dead Fall, but Lauren went through a twisting maze to find her love. And what else could her love be, hidden in that maze, but a Minotaur named Asterius.

Spoilers ahead.
Ok, I have loved the series so far. I even enjoyed this one. Just not as much as the previous two. Alice grew to love her lion man (I honestly have no idea how to spell his name) and Tak. And while things with Tak were rushed a bit, the groundwork had been laid

Minotaur’s Curse continues Susan Trombley’s excellent Into the Dead Fall series and in this instalment we finally get Asterius’ story. Asterius is invulnerable. Almost. His only weakness is the golden ring in his nose, just touching it can bring the big Minotaur to his knees. But, the cursed ring can only be removed by someone who loves him. Lauren has fallen through a hole in her world and landed in the proverbial rubbish tip of the universe. It’s a hard world and she knows, despite her surviv ...more

Shelves: loved-it
Great book continued the series, and this H was wonderfully angry and angsty. The h was smart, resourceful and brave. He can only be saved by love, and he pushed her to love him - luckily for him, she did. There was a lot of world building and their community expanded. It was a great addition to the series.

I always enjoy a Trombley novel

I just...I really wanted to know HOW the curse happened, haha. My question wasn’t answered, but it’s ok, because the story was great.
The review: STOP! Instalust alert! It’s a pretty typical version of the trope. Guy sees girl and is committed, gurl sees guy and goes noodley. Well, sort of, but you get the point.
I really liked seeing the previous characters in the series and getting their updates. Very much looking forward to seeing where this series goes. The aut
Minotaur turns good-ish? Monsters aren't always who you think they are, as we find out in this book.

I like the world of the Dead Fall for stories but it's a scary place!!!!

Finally, a book I LOVED!

F I n a l l y......
I’ve read soo many books lately that left me ticked off and annoyed, I was beginning to fear I wasn’t going to find a book I enjoyed again....
I know that sounds a bit melodramatic and over stating and I guess it is/was but you know how it is ,we all go through those periods where it seems like we either can’t find anything to read ( even with a kindle full of them) you know like when you look at a fridge full of food and don’t want any of it

A good addition

So this was a good addition to the dead fall series. And while you could probably read it as a standalone the beginning and the end have quite a few tie ins to the first two books so I think it's really most enjoyable read in order so you can see the full picture. Anyway we get Asterius's story her and I loved that he was a minotaur since they don't get to be a hero of a love interest often. He was great, hot, strong, Sweet and while he was intelligent he also had some innocence h

Third book in this series and to date... my absolute favourite...and I freaking loved the other two books in this series but this one hit me right in the ticker.
Again peeps.. you gotta read the first two books in this series before you even think about diving into this book... as well as two fantastic stories in their own right, they are filled with back story and the foundation of building the world of the deadfall and all it wonderful and wacky inhabitants.

A is THE MINOTAUR in the labyrinth.

So. Why You Bullspittin'?
This is the third instalment of the stories about the Dead Fall, a planet that has become a dumping ground for the weird and wonderful that is sucked through a wild ravaging time/space portal.

Just stick with it if you think is premise is cray.

The Minataur, Arterius, is fashioned on the Greek mythology of old.
His horrific circumstances for his birth, curse and early years have left him scarred and a hardened warrior, cursed to be alone and unloved. Lauren, the hits human

Things are getting sticky in the Dead Fall. Not that they weren't before, mind you. Because, you know, when you have a big, inter-dimensional portal that randomly (or maybe NOT so randomly. Who knows?!?!?) opens and dumps unsuspecting individuals into a harsh, dangerous world is already pretty crazy. But Gray's actions in the last book have ramped things up and now things are SUPER crazy.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing when you're a nearly immortal monster who likes to fight. However, it isn

Dead fall love is strong.

Sometimes reading a few books into a series can get tedious and boring for me but I'm so thrilled that isn't the case with the dead fall series (love the authors other series too tho) it's such an awesome world that blends different dimensions, creatures, aliens and really anything you can think of into a fallout style world. And really how badass is that? I was really hoping to read the minotaur story after reading the last one. I felt sad that he was alone and was happ

Another great read !!

If you liked or loved books one and two you will absolutely love love love book three!! I love it when authors continue to bring past characters back in future books . Especially when it is essential . This book has lots of action , adventure and a Kick butt H . The guy / monster was so much better than I thought he would be . Totally hot read that you won’t want to put down .

I've been waiting for Asterius' book since Grey's came out. Was so excited when it was announced on her facebook. I was not disappointed in this book. I love Asterius and Lauren and how well they fit each other. I always love when myths are flipped or adapted and having the minotaur get a chance to be redeemed and happy was a good read. Was also happy to be introduced to more characters of the Dead Fall and can't wait for more in this series as well as her Iriduan Test Subjects series.

Satisfactory read

The author kept the series going in a good pace, love the characters though the female lead started up strong but fail a little short. I thought since she was military was going to kick butt and be resourceful but was very dependent of the hero. I totally get the difficult situation she was in but she lacked something.. Anyways overall the story was lovely and was enjoyable. If you've been following this series this book makes a nice compliment.

I had to say this but I really didn't like this one. It was bland and hard to get through. Not the writing, cause the writing is good, but the charecters themselves are just so boring. I found myself skipping through the dialouge trying to find something to like about this. Spoiler alert:
I didn't.
I may try to read this again at another point for now this is a no from me.

Asterisk and Lauren

This world build is absolutely unique. Susan makes a mythical creature her own character, a minotaur that is at once fierce and tender. But, mostly fierce. Lauren is up to the challenge, being a lot fierce herself. They are
well matched. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Excellent tale

The classic tale of the Minotaur crossed with Beauty and the Beast. I absolutely adored this story. It kept me enthralled from page one all the way through until the end.

Great spin on the Myth

Another fantastic addition to the series. Love the combination of Lauren's past demons with her Minotaur's past sacrifices. Bringing all our favorite characters back together to stand against NEX, can't wait to see who's next!

Loving this series!

This series just keeps hitting those juicy spots for me! Big ol’ beasty hero, a heroine I can like and connect with, danger, and sexy romps! Yay! Loved our Minotaur man in this one, just the right amount of strangeness and relateability. Good good good.

Ministry's Curse

I felt sorry for the Minotaur and hero's in Greek and Roman mythology as they always got the shaft. So I love that Susan took the bull by the horns and created a fabulous love story for the Minotaur and Lauren . I hope she gifts them with offspring in the future.

Born a dragon, but forced to take human form to fit into those little baby carriers, Susan accepted that she'd have to live a mortal life. She just wasn't going to go around being all boring about it. As soon as she was old enough, she immediately applied for an alien abduction, but got wait-listed, so she made her lair in the desert to wait out the coming zombie apocalypse with a pair of magical ...more
