If like me you have read this authors Hell Squad or Galactic Gladiator books then you be well aware that she has the capacity to imagine weird and wonderful creatures. Therefore it came as no surprise when I realised that Davion carries a symbiotic creature that he can link with in order to perform amazing feats . What I did find surprising was Eves non stop have a go attitude. I'm used to kick ass heroines but this gal just keeps going no matter what she is faced with. I loved her feisty nature ...more

The adventure in this book, Fantastic!

I loved the bad ass heroine too. The idea about changing terrain and synthetic planet was amazing. The creatures and main villain species Kantos was also done well. God I wanted the space corp to suffer for blackmailing Eve. May be sometime later.

A rush from beginning to end.

Heroine is blackmailed into a doomed task by the organization that has already treated her badly. Love of family and the ingrained desire to protect have her accepting the assignment.

The heroine is resilient, quick thinking, witty, and self sufficient. So is the hero.

Watching them work together to survive their enemies' plans is edge of the seat nerve wracking. Watching them fall in love and hoping for a happy ending, more nerve wracking.

Anna Hackett does write fun things; Eon Warriors is her latest series and comes off as a mash-up of her Galactic Gladiators series with the ever-popular apocalyptic Hell Squad one as future earth women—when humans finally come of age to travel and explore space in earnest—find themselves tangling with a race of Eon warriors. Who are naturally, buff, muscular, big and bonded with a symbiont that gives them a near-untouchable demeanour from the start.

The setup is intriguing of course: a criminal

Loved it!! Read in one sitting! I can't wait for book 2! I think Shaggy was one of my favorite characters!!!!

Fail or refuse and her family will suffer a similar fate as her own.

If you like your sci-fi romance to have lots of action, a muscle-bound hero, a kickass heroine and lots of sex, then you’ll probably love this. It’s fast, it’s hot and best read without thinking too deeply. Jump in and enjoy!

Alas, I tend to need a little bit more than a hot hero, feisty heroine and sex, so despite being excited about this new series, I found it a little meh. It’s fun enough, but I have to admit it didn’t win me over. Eve was just a bit too impulsive at times and I hated how ofte

Series: Eon Warriors #1

With insect-like aliens bearing down on Earth, the only hope is to get the powerful Eon Warriors on their side; but relations have never been good between Earth and the Eon. Sub-Captain Eve Traynor accepts a suicide mission to kidnapped a mighty Eon War Commander in order to save her sisters and her planet but she never expected to crash land on a dangerous man-made planet with one pissed off warrior.

Edge of Eon was non-stop and filled with Anna Hackett's classic action, s

Shenanigans of an alien nature. Yesssss! And I'm not just talking about the brooding War Commander, either. Those Kantos are brutal and bad and I'm looking forward to watching them get their due.

But that's coming later, I'm sure. In this book, we get to meet Eve and Davion and see how the strained relations between Eon and Earth lead to Eve being sent out on a desperate, suicidal mission to abduct War Commander Davion. To say things didn't go well would be an understatement. To be fair, however,

For adult readers due to sexual content
You won't get bored! There is so much action and adventure in this one you almost forget it's a romance. We have hunky , movie star looking, warrior aliens who refuse to help Terrans or us Earthlings because of an old King's ruling. An alien race that looks like giant bugs who want to invade Earth and decimate it. Then there is us the conniving human who will do anything, no matter how underhanded or insane it may sound to try to save our hides. This is suc

Shaggy Dog 🐺 Story

I loved this book until it got to the wolf🐺 creature Shaggy. Then it veered off course. Implausible, impossible, kind of silly. Taming a grown wild animal like the one in this story is a fantasy🌈. Having been around wild animals many times in Alaska for many years, I know.

Except for that I loved the interaction between the bad girl human, Eve, and the straight laced super warrior and leader of the Eon Space force, Davion. Fun read! I recommend this book and all of Ms. Carven's

A kick-ass heroine and a hunky commander. Lots of fighting and steamy scenes in between. If you can't tell I loved everything about this book.

I found this world to be quite fascinating, especially the planet Hunter7. I cant wait to see more of the Eon and their technology. And to see the Eons reaction to crazy Eve's sisters.

Thrilling start to an explosive series!!!

This was a fun and exciting start to a new and intriguing series! I enjoyed the fast pace, the inventive backdrops, the banter, and the memorable, badass characters. I cant wait for the next one!!!!

Edge of Eon is the first book in Anna Hackett’s new science fiction romance series, Eon Warriors. So if you’ve ever had a hankering to try SFR in general or this author in particular (and you should, she’s terrific!) this is a great place to start.

The Eon Warriors series is space opera type SFR, one of my particular favorites. Lots of ships, lots of planets,, LOTS of politics, and a big universe in which to tell both big and small stories. If you’re wonderi

Not what had hoped for... Good, Anna’s always good ..but I didn’t love it like I had hoped...

Four stars foe the writer, but only three for enjoyment....

Surreal and highly repetitive are the first words that come to mind here....
The characters had a nice banter at times but it like soo many things were was rather repetitive and personally I never really felt their connection even though I wanted to...

Eve : Eve was just ,well honestly Eve was just to perfect... Eve was just to freakin perfect... He

In Anna Hackett's books you can find lots of action and adventures. Otherwise, her books have many similar points and that make them less enjoyable for me.
Eve is super in everything who solves all the problems with her super heroic actions. She's silly, fearless, masculine and impulsive. She saves Davion's ass miraculously with easy solutions.
Davion is dull and indistinctive supposedly he is the War Commander of Eon warship but mer earth woman managed to sneak and kidnap him😩, WOW.

OOOOh a new space set romance for me love!

Earth (as usual) mucked up First Contact with the Eon and there has been an icy détente ever since. But an insectoid race called the Kantos (channel Starship Troopers baddies) are set on devouring everything in their path, including Earth.

Eve was set up to take the fall for her incompetent captain. But she has been given a get out of jail free card. All she has to do is get to Eon space, get aboard a warship and kidnap a fearsome Was Commander. Oh, and g

EDGE OF EON - Is more than a molten-hot romance. This new series packs a powerful punch. Once I started reading I couldn't stop until the fantastic conclusion. My heart raced through all the action and I loved every minute of it. The story takes on a life of it's own with powerful action scenes, horrific danger, life-threatening incidents, witty banter, gripping suspense, dynamic vivid scene descriptions, sensuous toe-curling romance and an aweso

10 Stars, EASILY

OMFG! That was completely and utterly amazeballs! This had to be THE MOST action packed book I have read in eons! (See what I did there?😜) I'm not kidding though when I tell you, you will not be getting any sleep once you begin this epic battles to save earth from a blood-thirsty, power-hungry alien species of bug warriors. Think, Indiana Jones on MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF STEROIDS!

I WANNA GROW UP TO BE JUST LIKE EVE! She is a total badass! She is smart, tough and has a strong moral cod

When Eve is released from prison and blackmailed into going on a secret mission to save Earth from an insectoid alien invasion and annihilation, she's sure she's being sent on a suicide mission. The Eon's already have a bad impression of Terrans and kidnapping their War Commander won't win Terrans any points. But given no other options, she finds a way, and they are in Davion's ship heading for an Eon's training planet when disaster strikes.

Enjoyable start to a new series. Eve Traynor has been charged with an offence by Space Corps all because of her star ship Captain being the son of an Admiral and consequently sent to prison. She is not at all happy with the Corps and to make matters worse she now has to go and kidnap a War Commander of the Eon, a race of warriors who refuse to help Earth fight against the Kantos a nasty bug like race who have Earth in their sites to conquer. Awesome new series!

Romance ✅, action ✅, sci-fi ✅. Edge of Eon is a great start to a new series! Eve was on her way to be a captain in the Earth Space Corps, until she was the scapegoat for someone else’s mistake & placed in prison. She was then given a chance to get out & clear her name. The only problem, she has to kidnap an Eon War Commander Davion. She agrees in order to save her sisters & the rest of Earth from some horrible aliens. Davion, holy hotness with a cool as symbiont th

I’d say give it a go

I needed to find another alien romance since I’ve read through so many lately! This one was pretty good. If I could rate half stars, I’d likely have went more 3.5. The symbionts armor was good and I liked how she had it respond to eve. I liked the planets animal responding to eve also. The best part was that they accepted their relationship and did not fight it like so many alien Romances have them do for 80% if the books, gah that’s annoying. So this was a nice change. Could

she's done it again!

I swear there is not one book that Anna Hackett has written that I don't love 💘. She seems to be able to hook me in from the first few pages and suck me deep into her world building and characters. I love Eve and Devion's story. Eve is such a strong female lead a true warrior sent on an impossible mission. Devion is pure delicious alpha male strong, deadly and in so loyal. Together they fight their way of a hostile planet and a horrible alien but race trying to kill them. And

An incredible new world from a master!

I have been a fan of Anna’s books since i first got a free copy of Gladiator and Marcus (both highly recommended!). The Gladiators and Hell Squad remain favorites, but the Warriors of Eon might be my new favorites!

Eve is blackmailed into kidnapping Eon War-Commander Davion, as a desperate ploy to convince the Eon Empire to aid Earth in their coming battle against the Kantos, alien invaders. Obviously, nothing goes as planned and they find themselves fighting

I have never been disappointed with an Anna Hackett book, and I wasn't this time either. I can see this is the start of a new book obsession. With each new world she introduces, Anna creators a new fantasy that I fall into whole heartedly. Her characters actions and motivations are so believable and relatable. Eve's love and devotion for her sisters is a darned good reason to go against her principles in order to keep them safe. Her fall, fast and deeply into love with Davian is believable, as h ...more

Really enjoyed it

Eve was not at all what I expected. She was very tough in her own right and fought as hard as Davion. I liked Davion but we didn't really learn much about him. In that way, I felt like the book needed more. Plus we didn't get to see his friends much until the end. So this was definitely Eve's story. I prefer when the hero and heroine share the book and we learn about each equally. But who am I kidding? Shaggy stole the book. Loved him!

As a side note, to me this felt like it was

Davion is my new favourite hero and Eve is a really kick-ass heroine. I love both of them. Eve is sent to abduct Davion in order to get the Eon King to talk to Earth about an alliance against the Kantos, an insectoidal race out to conquer the universe. Unfortunately the Kantos intercept the shuttle they are on and force it to crash land on a nearby planet. The planet is set up as a training ground for Eon warriors and Davion and Eve find themselves battling the planet as well as the Ka
