Hi. I’m Gwen. I’m a single mom to two growing boys—and now I’m the brand new owner of an alien whose greatest wish in life is to become a live-in nanny.
It’s been kind of a weird day.
I wholeheartedly recommend adding an alien to your household though. He cooks, he cleans—and the kids love him. But three things you should know if you’re going to keep a seven-foot-tall alie

This sweet little treat is all kinds of adorable! If you have read any of Amanda Milo's alien romances, you will be familiar with this alien world, but this story can also be read as a stand-alone.

Imagine if Mary Poppins showed up at your door, but she was a giant red alien with horns and a tail...Completely OTT, but with this story it not only works, but is funny, heartwarming, and a bit sexy.

90% of what makes this story so delightful to me is Mitteeku, the alien MC. He
Let me first say that I randomly found this book on Amazon while on a different book's page while thinking about what to read because I couldn't find what I was craving. Then I saw this, went 'WTF?', read the synopsis, and immediately my mood changed and all I wanted to read was this gem. Seriously, that cover... I absolutely love it. Someone make me cookies!

I should mention that yes, this is #6 in the series, but I read it before reading anything else in the series and pretty much understood ev

If you haven't read the Stolen by an Alien series, don't worry this cute Christmas novella is the perfect standalone for the holiday season. If you have read Amanda Milo and this series before than prepare yourself, it's another rakhii romance! In The (Alien) Nanny for Christmas we have one very sexy alien, one harassed single mum and two adorable kids we then give them a mix. Need I say more?

This book and my Christmas chocolate have two things in common: one they were beautifully sweet, two: I
Who wouldn't want a nanny that can cook without using any appliances AND entertain the baby at the same time? Bonus points for the super-hot attractiveness, protective but encouraging behavior!

Gwen slowly falls in love with Mitteeku but her kids fall in love with him immediately, especially the 14 mos old Austin. Chris, the almost teenager, thinks having an alien as a nanny is cool instead of weird. Dinner the first day of Mitteeku living with them sets the guys on a hilarious journey of meshing

I liked it but the abrupt ending left me unhappy ☹

I really enjoyed this story and I loved Mitteeku’s wonderful blend of sweet strict Alpha behavior at times blended w/an almost need to please, beta isn’t the right word but neither is submissive either, but a beautiful blend of wanting/ needing to please but know when to take charge... like with the kids or sexy times ;)
I loved how naive/innocent ( I mean why he thought his red Dragon looking self would be safe just wondering the streets of eart

This was a fairly simple and short story but it was so cute. I really enjoyed reading this one!

This is book six in the series, but it does mostly standalone. There's some stuff that will make a lot more sense if you read the previous books and have a better idea about Rakhii biology and culture, but I don't think it's strictly necessary.
Mostly because a lot of this story is about the feels and mostly manages to carry the entire book on the strength of said feels.
I loved Gwen, but I adored Mitteeku. Loved him from the moment he got sad over the shortness of a butterfly's lifespan. (yes, to

It's another day-in-the-life of Gwen who feels she's failing as a mother for her two children. Unable to get emergency childcare backup, she faces losing her job as this will be her third strike, and she's out. "Will no one rid me of this meddlesome life?" From her mouth to a Rakhaii's ears. Mitteeku, a wandering extraterrestrial, hoping to disguise himself as a cosplay participant, hears her sobbing and signs up to be a child caretaker (because he finds the term "babysitter" to be abusive).

Alien Nannies and Effects on Infant Development

Utterly charming in so many ways! The entire story is sweeter than three tons of sugar. It perfectly balances the the gentleness and adoration that are the Rakkhi, along with being down-to-business in raising a family. The excitement isn't off the rails - it's the usual things that may plague a family and/or a single mother. But none of it feels like the tedium of the everyday - each encounter is written in a way that draws the reader to full intere

It's no secret that Amanda Milo is one of my fav authors. I love the world she built with her aliens (who by the way look like aliens) and every time I get my hands on one of her books I know I'm in for a good time.
Firstly let me tell you that although this works as a stand alone book it will be better if you started with book 1 (which is my favourite of the series).
This is a very sweet and adorable story. You have a single mother of 2 who tries her best to make a living for her and her boys an

Book 6 in the stolen by an alien series.

A wonderful, can be read as standalone, but seriously...with characters this great,a series so full of world building and wonderful sci fi romance series... why would you only read one?

Without heading into spoilerville...this story occurs when ‘other stuff’ is going on... Gwen is a single mother of two boys, making her way through each day as best a single mum can... with a last minute childminder cancellation...she finds her options limited... loose her

As you'll see, i was impressed by The hero. He's adorable and confident. He treats the heroine with respect, Loves her kids, doesn't undermine the heroine, is protective in a non-creepy way, like many romance "heroes" are. (ex. he doesn't follow her around or pressure her into anything).
There is enthusiastic consent, none of that, you say no, but your body says yes, crap, as happens with a lot of other romance heroes. Arousal is a reflex, not consent, the crotch doesn't care what the rest of a

Awesome Christmas Surprise!!!

So, I spent some time in the hospital recently, and it messed me up as far as keeping up with the various newsletters about books and other emails about books and, of course, reading the books I had set to read and review. I say all of this to explain how, whenever my life gets unsettled, one of the things I do to "self-soothe" is reread certain authors and certain series. So, for the past while, I set aside my reading list in order to revisit a few favorites, which

So in love

My seven year old son and I had fun trying to pronounce Mitteeku as the author described and for those precious moments of bonding, this book gets all my love and devotion.
I LOVED this book, of course because: Rahkii! I love those guys! Awesome aliens. Of course I very much enjoy all the aliens Amanda Milo’s imagination has sprung to life, so no shocker there.
This is an Earth book. Not a book like Stolen or Rescued or even Blindfall. This is an alien on earth book and it’s freaking a

Love this series

This along with blind fall go towards filling in some blanks. So looking foward to the next installment, here's to hoping these get put together as sets so i can have them at once to read and reread without taking up all my phones memory, can't use an sd card on this one. Amanda I am seriously contemplating buying a new phone for this very reason. Love you, Love your brain, and how awesome your imagination is. I have been missing my Rakhii! (hint..hint..) Not that I am complaining but they are my first love. I'm starting to think that I would read toilet paper if Amanda wrote on it! I loved his name Mitteeku. The names are on point in all of these books. There are some moments that are so sweet I may get a toothache-my heart definitely was clenching. I a
This book was exactly what I needed today - cute, fun, sweet, just all-around adorable. Gwen is an overworked single mom who chooses not to look a gift horse in the mouth when cuddly, 7 ft tall fire-breathing alien Mitteeku shows up at her doorstep, complete with horns, claws, and spiked tail, and offers to babysit her kids so she can keep from getting fired from her job. I have not read any of Amanda Milo's other books in this series (although I will definitely remedy that soon), but really, yo ...more

Just... WOW! Amanda, please send Mitteeku’s identical twin brother to my house! With all these kids, I desperately need him! This was the sweetest story. Single mom, Gwen, has two fabulous boys, but no sitter for baby Austin. It must be a wonderful universal occurrence that a curious Rakhii appears on her doorstep. Of course, as Rakhiis do, Mitteeku endears himself to this family and stays on to nanny the baby. Amanda Milo shines in the details. And there’s no shortage of steamy scenes, either. ...more

The gift that keeps on giving

Amanda Milo's Rahkii are the most lovable aliens! I mean, who shows up at Gwen's door, trying to rescue a dying butterfly? Who is thrilled to death when her baby's babble mimics the sound of his unpronounceable alien name? Who thinks her teenage son is a Truly Cool Kid? Who is delighted when a nanny gig materializes out of the incident? Who loves having Gwen boss him around while he makes her life better? Metteeku the Rahkii!! He's just what Gwen needs, she and her f

Received as an ARC from Author, but I bought it as soon as I saw the Email.
When it comes to Amanda’s Books, I immediately buy them no questions asked.

I am never disappointed with her books, I crave this series like no other, heck even day dream it. That’s how much I love this world and its characters.

This was so CUTE!
I loved it!
I was a bit worried at the end, not gonna lie.
But what happens is exactly what you hope for, with a grin worthy HEA!

So sweet! We don't get too many alien books where the alien stays on Earth, in a suburb neighborhood no less! Gwen is a believable struggling single mom trying to cope with real life problems, and I am very taken with her. Mitteeku is very sweet on her, and they work very well.

Typical of an Amanda Milo book, there is no villain. It's just a sweet developing novel. I am a fan of her unique style, and I am especially fond of comedies. This one is very mild in that regard, but very worth readi

So Much Fun to Read!

I don't remember ever reading a story by Amanda Milo, but I'm sure I'll remember this one. The (Alien) Nanny for Christmas is so much fun to read! The characters are wonderful! Even though I haven't read about Mittkeetu's people before, understanding his actions was easy due to the author's concise explanations which blended seamlessly into the story. I found myself smiling (and laughing out loud) throughout the entire story. I'm so looking forward to reading more stories abo

A very fun and light hearted read! I’ve never been one to read Christmas themed books, but I just had to get this one. That cover was just too tempting! I didn’t know that Rakhii came in all different colors like that, so when I saw the red, it was settled! I also love me some Rakhii, so I am thrilled that we got a book that focused solely on one, with no hobs or other male interests. Yay! I can’t wait for the next one ;)

I loved the book

I love the way she brought her character still alive and how she showed the patience of the male towards his mate . And some of the humor ism of her character and how she tries to adjust on certain things but how she outwitted them I just totally enjoyed the book I'm hoping and praying that she makes another one that she turns this into a series this is just so many characters in the book that would to see them have there Mates I just love the book

New favorite author

This is my first book by this author but certainly won’t be the last. I like that two characters that look and act completely different can come together and be hot. I really, really love the humor in almost every page. If you like quick wit, blossoming love and a bit of sex, you won’t go wrong here.

So worth the read!

Another home run for Amanda Milo! I adore this author with her “punny” humour and make you roar with laughter situations. Her hero’s are adorable (I want one of my very own!) and the leading lady will never leave you wanting. An absolute MUST read. Do yourself a favour and buy ALL books with her name on them! You will not be disappointed!

I have to admit this is the first I am reading in the series. I've read about the first 2 of the series and I was afraid they would be too "dark" for me. I saw someone posted this book on Facebook and thought that this doesn't look bad at all, I'm so glad I read it. Sweet and so funny. Loved all the characters. Will look back at what other stories I missed.

I absolutely loved it, which is so NOT surprising since it's an Amanda Milo creation!! You rock, Amanda!! Keep the rahkii stories coming!!

The Alien Nanny for Christmas

OMG did I laugh with this story. I loved Gwen and Mitteeku. They were such a great couple and wonderful parents. The kids cracked me up. I loved all the stories. I can't wait to read the next in this series. I would highly recommend this book and this series.
