I'm back in for my 9th year and cant wait to get started. Not sure wether ill continue with the science fiction or maybe switch to fantasy (I do have a good story brewing in that area :D)

Anyone who wants to hit me up on the Nanowrimo forums can find me under the same username: Interstella5555

Trike | 4913 comments Not this year. November always turns out to be insanely busy for me, so in the spirit of learning my lesson I'm giving it a pass. Forever.

Maybe I'll try if they hold it in February when there's five feet of snow outside and I ain't got diddly squat going on.

Interstella5555 | 25 comments There is an Album writing month for feb if you're musically minded :D :D

I suppose its one of these things as well, If you don't have the time then you don't have the time.

I'll crack on with it this year and see what transpires

S. K. Pentecost | 36 comments This will be my 4th year. I've gotten 1 full first draft and 2 partials out of it so far.

Still don't have any ideas for a story. So for the first time I'm going to take a look at No Plot? No Problem!: A Low-Stress, High-Velocity Guide to Writing a Novel in 30 Days. Got it on order from another Library in the area.

Nine years is a good chunk of time, Cammy. What's been your favorite aspect of the NaNo process?

Aside from the fact that it gets my head down and writing I like the social aspect of it. Bouncing ideas off fellow forumites and pitching in with ideas now and then is fun.

Got a good Fantasy novel brewing this year involving gods and such. Should be fun :D

Keith (keithvolson) | 5 comments I will be for the 4th year and hopefully 3rd win. I should really finish this year the steampunk story I started in 2014. Last year I wrote two novella length stories. One the prequel to the tv show iZombie. :)

Interstella5555 | 25 comments I dont know if any fellow forumites out there have ever played a game on the Nintendo DS called "Hotel Dusk" and its sequel "Last Window". Well I LOVE!!!! these games and since the company that made them went bust and there doesnt look like being a third part in the series, for the last few years Ive wanted to write my own ending for Nanowrimo.

Maybe one year Ill get round to it :-D

Good luck Keith and S.K.

Ryne | 68 comments I'm excited to begin working on a fantasy series about a warrior known as a Reaper that wanders the kingdom in order to prevent to undead from wreaking havoc on the living. It'll mainly follow the apprentice/assistant (not sure which word to go with) and will feature some twists on fantasy character archetypes.

Ken (kanthr) | 334 comments Cammy, I've got an album and a novel in the works.

This November, I'm planning on getting to work on them more seriously, but free time is hard to find.

Gary Gillen | 37 comments I agree with Trike. I think I'll have my own NaNoWrimo in February. November is too busy and February is between football and baseball, and right before March Madness. Perfect in my eyes.
