Stephen Renneberg (StephenRenneberg) | 14 comments I am delighted to announce that this week, I signed a major 5 book translation and mass market distribution deal with a national publisher in China. The deal includes all 5 of the Mapped Space titles:

The Mothership
The Mothersea
The Antaran Codex
In Earth's Service
The Riven Stars

All of these titles have received impressive reviews, feature cover art by renowned UK artist Tom Edwards, and were proofed and edited by my amazing wife Elenor.

The deal is with the Beijing Institute of Technology Press Co. Ltd, a well respected publisher of quality non fiction and fiction and who have released more than 3,000 titles through mainland China.

The deal was brokered by Cherry Zhou of Rightol Media Limited, a leading foreign rights agency based in Chengdu, the cultural capital of southern China. Rightol are responsible for approximately 8% of foreign translations into China and have relationships with 95% of Chinese publishers.

The Chinese language paperback editions of the Mapped Space Universe books will be released in mainland China over the next twelve to eighteen months.

Mack Leonard (MackLeonard) | 2 comments Nice job Stephen, wasn't familiar with your work but it looks like you put in some significant elbow grease developing a cogent fictional universe and it paid off! Very nice to see, I hope you only grow from here!
